Accessing the hosted databases should be done with extreme care and caution.
By default, remote access to the DBs is turned off to all IP external addresses (Render runs all of our services inside a VPC) so you'll need to get access from the CTO.
Please include the reason, plan and how long you need access for in your request.
Where possible, huddle with a colleague who can sanity check your work.
Once you're done, please inform the CTO who will revoke the remote access.
