Sometimes we need to put the platform into a maintenance mode. This stops Members using the platform and writing to the DB.
This can be done by setting these ENV in Doppler:
INCIDENT_STATUS_TYPE=maintenance
INCIDENT_STATUS_UPDATE=We're just doing some scheduled maintenance. We'll be back online soon.
Feel free to set the INCIDENT_STATUS_UPDATE to anything that makes sense.
INCIDENT_STATUS_TYPE can also be set to "downtime" (the default if left empty).
This results in a "Bare with us" style status page rather than a "We'll be right back"
style page.
If you're doing something like a DB migration, you may want to turn off the CRON jobs in EasyCron to avoid accumulating stale DB writes.
